Between September 15 and 18, 1982, the Sabra and Shatila Massacre took place in the midst of the Lebanese civil war (1975-1990), where between 700 and 3,500 Palestinian refugees were killed by Lebanese Christian Falangists.

The massacre occurred west of Beirut, and with Israeli complicity, the Lebanese entered those camps and killed hundreds of people, including women, children and the elderly.

There were survivors who lost up to 17 members of their families, many children were orphaned, mothers were dying clinging to their babies.

42 years after that massacre, Palestinians remember with pain and demand that justice be done.
