The Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Sergei Lavrov, warned this Monday that if the Western allies of the Kiev regime want to resolve the Ukrainian crisis on the battlefield, Moscow is ready.

“It's their right, if they want it on the battlefield, it will be on the battlefield,” Lavrov said, recalling that Moscow has repeatedly stated that it is willing to negotiate to resolve the conflict, but taking into account the current reality, RT reports on its web portal.

Referring to the high-level international forum scheduled to be held in Switzerland on 16 and 17 June, at which the peace plan for Ukraine will be addressed, the Russian Foreign Minister pointed out that this event “boils down to once again formulating an ultimatum to Russia”, so he criticized that “this is no way to talk to anyone, and especially to us”.

He added that this event focuses on Volodimir Zelensky's 'peace formula', but ignores other initiatives such as that of China. “As the venue for peace talks, Switzerland is no longer very suitable. Switzerland used to be a really neutral country. Now Switzerland has unequivocally sided with Ukraine,” he said.
