This Friday, the first president of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, voted in the presidential elections that began
The president cast his vote remotely through the electronic voting system from his office in a presidential residence in the province of Moscow.
Four candidates are competing for the highest state office in the 2024 elections, the eighth in the history of modern Russia.
The candidates are Leonid Slutsky, for the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR); Nikolai Jaritonov, for the Communist Party of Russia (KPRF); Vladislav Davankov, for New People; as well as the current president, Vladimir Putin (independent)
