This Tuesday, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, asked the Public Prosecutor's Office to impose a “just punishment” on the terrorists who carried out the attack on the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Moscow, in which 139 people were killed.
“I trust that prosecutors, within the framework of their powers, including when presenting state charges during the judicial process, will do everything necessary to ensure that criminals receive just punishment as required by Russian legislation,” said the president.
In this regard, the head of state added that “as a result of the bloody attack in the Moscow region”, among others, “children, adolescents and women” died, and he also noted that “researchers are scrupulously establishing the circumstances surrounding this barbaric crime”.
Yesterday, President Putin spoke of the existence of a Ukrainian black hand in the attack, despite the fact that the attack was immediately claimed by the Islamic State.
In this regard, he refused to accept the hypothesis presented by Western intelligence services that the attack is the work of the Islamic State of the Province of Khorasan Province (ISPK).
“And the Nazis, as is well known, have never had any qualms about using the dirtiest and most inhumane means to achieve their objectives,” said the president during a meeting with members of the Government and security forces.
