Russia plans to develop its privileged strategic partnership with China

This Friday, the Russian Federation plans to carry out a privileged strategic partnership with the People's Republic of China, as stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov.

“As for our relations with China, they have the character of a privileged strategic partnership. We are ready to continue developing them by all means, we know that there is the same political will on the part of Beijing, which makes us very happy,” said Peskov.

At the 19th round of the China-Russia strategic security consultation in Beijing, during which the two sides thoroughly exchanged views on important issues of common interest related to strategic security, they reached new consensus and improved strategic mutual trust.

Russia and China have agreed to maintain good the general interests of relations between the two nations and of the development and revitalization of the two countries, and to promote common global security and stability.
