This Saturday, the Russian Federation noted that the drone attack launched by Ukraine against the city of Kazan responds to “a kind of revenge for the success of the BRICS Summit”, which was held in this town in October.

The spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, said on social networks that “Kiev unleashes its impotent anger against the Russian civilian population over military defeats”, and that the attack on the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan is a sign of the power and influence of the BRICS in the world, “as well as an attempt to intimidate the population of a region in dynamic development”.

On the other hand, Zakharova criticized the outrageous “demonstrative and hypocritical silence” of the collective West and its media, which react immediately to any extremist outbreak, not to mention terrorist attacks in various parts of the world, but which, in the case of Russia, pretend that nothing is happening. There is no excuse for terrorism. It cannot be ignored. It deserves condemnation and zero tolerance.”
