The Kremlin spokesman, Dmitri Peskov, stated that Western countries intend to follow their destructive line, thus prolonging the Ukrainian conflict with the Russian Federation.

For his part, the German Foreign Minister, Olaf Scholz, published a message to the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, on his account of the social network X, in which he indicated that Western support for Ukraine will not weaken.

“They (Western countries) intend to continue their destructive line, causing the continuation of this war,” Peskov said in response to a request for comment on the publication, Sputnik said.

The Federation assured the representative of the Kremlin, it will continue the special military operation in Ukraine until all the established goals are achieved.

At the same time, Putin has repeatedly reiterated that he is open to dialogue as long as it meets Russia's objectives, Peskov remarked.

Ukrainian troops are militarily supported by this 32-country alliance with the United States (USA) at the helm.

In June, Putin formulated several key conditions for starting peace negotiations, in particular, that Ukraine withdraw troops from four new Russian territories, namely, Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporozhie (Zaporizhzhia), desist from joining NATO and maintaining a neutral, non-aligned and non-nuclear status; and that all sanctions against Russia be lifted.
