Russia was the scene of the XIII BRICS Trade Union Forum held this weekend in Sochi, a meeting that enjoys well-deserved authority in the international trade union movement.

In this regard, the president of the nation Vladimir Putin stated, quoted by Sputnik, that the proposals and initiatives in the photo will be implemented and will contribute to strengthening the positions of the group's countries in the world economy. “With the recent expansion of the BRICS through the accession of the largest emerging economies, their activity takes on a new dimension,” said the Russian president.

According to the President of Russia, “the ambitious tasks of socio-economic and humanitarian development can only be fully achieved through systematic approaches to employment, the protection of rights, creative potential and the improvement of the professional skills of citizens (...) In Putin's view, the objectives of the event match the agenda of the Russian BRICS presidency.
