The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin called for the withdrawal of Zionist troops from the Golan, but expressed suspicion that Israel has no intention of leaving that Syrian territory.
Putin, during his annual press conference, assured that Russia expects Israel to leave the territory of Syria at some point, but currently the army has deployed additional troops.
“I think there are already several thousand. I have the impression that not only do they have no intention of leaving, but they intend to settle there,” warned the Russian president.
He also stressed that “Russia condemns the seizure of Syrian territories, this is obvious. Our position here does not require any change.”
The Russian president also stated that the Tel Aviv regime is the main beneficiary of the events taking place in Syria.
