Last Wednesday, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB, for its Russian acronym) reported that it prevented sabotage prepared by Ukrainian intelligence services against the aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov.

The Kiev regime tried to recruit a young Navy officer who serves on the only aircraft carrier available to Russia and who is currently out of stock in the port of Murmansk, on the shores of the Barents Sea (northwest).

An officer of the Ukrainian intelligence services, who identified himself as "Oleg “, contacted the Russian military through social networks last March and proposed large sums of money and fleeing to Finland using a false passport.

He then threatened to send false evidence to the Russian side so that the soldier could be criminally prosecuted for funding the Ukrainian Army, Telesur said.

The FSB announced that the operation was personally supervised by the head of the General Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Kiril Budánov, as “Oleg” confessed to the Russian official, who contacted the FSB and informed him of the sabotage operation, so the agency monitored the following contacts between the two.

Later, he sent those components to manufacture an explosive device (he did it through a transport company) and asked him to record a video of the attack.
