The board of directors of the National Park Institute (INPARQUES) appointed Rosinés Chávez Rodríguez, daughter of Commander Hugo Chávez, as the new president of the ecological entity.

The information was provided by the Minister of Popular Power for Ecosocialism, Josué Lorca Vegas, through the social network X, who described the meeting as emotional, which was intended to “formally hand over the Presidency of this important institution that ensures the protection and care of natural spaces and biodiversity in Venezuela, thus giving continuity to a great humanist, naturalist, animalist and ecosocialist management”.
