Rodríguez: Venezuela has become the epicenter of the fight against global fascism

Venezuela has unintentionally become the epicenter of the fight against world fascism, said the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez.

“We didn't choose it, we didn't look for it, they were the ones who came for us,” said Rodríguez during his participation in the World Congress against Fascism, Neofascism and other similar expressions taking place in Caracas.

He stressed that since the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, “not a single day has passed” since the extreme right abandoned its preaching of hatred between brothers.

“We have a middle class that was favored by the Revolution, Commander Chávez and President Maduro. They are protected by the Revolution because they are the most affected by the economic blockade and sanctions, in a kind of psychotic suicide they have applauded those measures that have done so much harm to them,” he stressed.
