This Friday, February 2, the vice-president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, stressed that the Bolivarian Revolution has built a humanist model in the Venezuelan security system, unlike other countries that replicate the imperialist model.

“We can say that we have been building hand in hand with the People a model of security of proximity to citizens, and where what needs to be corrected is corrected, but they will never see this Revolution replicating those models of hegemonic security, this is a humanist revolution and that's how it must remain and consolidate,” Rodríguez said during the 7T debate at the University Bolivarian of Venezuela.

He questioned those countries that replicate the imperialist model and that receive awards for violating Human Rights (Human Rights), as is the case of El Salvador. In addition, he mentioned the issue of Ecuador, which opened the doors of his country's Southern Command, “to solve an internal security problem, where the right-wing presidents who arrived and took out the Citizen Revolution, to hand over that territory to drug trafficking, that is the result of those policies.”

He also criticized international organizations such as the United Nations (UN) for not speaking out against those models that do not respect human rights, while adding that this issue for imperialism is his wild card for interventionism in other countries.

“And when it comes to countries that are not comfortable with their interests, their designs and that do not obey their orders, they throw away the High Commissioner of Human Rights (...) and whatever court there is,” he said and urged imperialism to come to Venezuela to talk about human rights so that he can see the lessons that the People will give him on the subject.
