Rodríguez: Our Delegation is ready to install the Verification Commission

Héctor Rodríguez reported that the Bolivarian Revolution's Dialogue Delegation is ready for the installation of the Verification Commission.

“We are going to create an expeditious methodology (as agreed) that allows those who are not involved in assassination, coups, blockades, sanctions, those who comply with Venezuelan laws and the Constitution to participate in the electoral process (for this reason) what should come now is the installation of the Verification Commission and the Delegation of the Bolivarian Revolution is ready to install it,” he said.

He asserted that the only thing that has not been fulfilled in the Barbados Agreement is “in assassination attempts because part of the commitments is to renounce violence, renounce coups d'etat and assassination as a way of doing politics,” he said, referring to a sector of the opposition that maintains its commitment to violent acts.

He stressed that on the part of the Bolivarian Government, it has been fully agreed and aspires to move forward in the installation of a verification commission, “to then agree on the dates of the elections.”
