This Friday, January 26, the president of the National Assembly (AN), Deputy Jorge Rodríguez, emphasized that the mechanism established within the framework of the Barbados Accords has been complied with, despite threats caused by attempts at violent actions by the extremist right to destabilize the country.

This was stated in reference to the procedure for the review of qualifications by the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), of opponents who disagree with their disqualification and present their arguments.

The assertion was made by Rodríguez, through his account on the social network X, in which he maintained that “despite serious threats from ultra-right sectors against the peace of the Republic, the mechanism established within the framework of the Barbados Agreements has been complied with”.

He said that “let's keep moving forward. Elections in 2024 rain, shine or flash!!!”

In another message, the president of the AN, annexed the Barbados Agreement, “so that everyone can verify their strict compliance. Also the mechanism with which the @ TSJ_Venezuela acted impeccably. It's a matter of judgment.”
