Ricardo Menéndez: The methods applied in the Historical Congress are from direct democracy

The general coordinator of the Presidential Commission of the Five Generations of the Historical Bloc, Ricardo Menéndez, highlighted this Thursday, the mobilization of the country's communities for the refounding of the Homeland, through more than 100,000 assemblies throughout the national territory.

During his speech at the installation of the Great Congress of the Bolivarian Historical Bloc, Menéndez indicated that from these meetings, “tools emerged from the revolutionary point of view to build processes, to build methods”.

In this regard, he presented the graphs of the progress in the street meetings prior to the Congress and reiterated his commitment to continue making progress in the country's progress, hand in hand with the People's Power.

“The methods applied from the point of view of the Historical Congress are methods of direct democracy and this issue is what is crucial (...) we as a Revolution are deciding the next step to take, the next step is to turn the page on the outdated of the right and build with President Nicolás Maduro, on January 10 of the year 2025, the great avenues towards the coming future time,” he said.
