Venezuelans from different states of the country arrived in Caracas to accompany, this Friday, January 10, President Nicolás Maduro, in the swearing-in ceremony before the National Assembly.

From Plaza Catia, María Ortiz from Yaracuy state, said: “We are here for every woman, for every child, for every Venezuelan who is willing to defend the peace and sovereignty of this country.”

President Maduro you are not alone, here is a town on the street that supports you and on this day we will be sworn in with you,” he added.

For his part, Yorman Suárez, also from Yaracuy, assured that the community members arrived in Caracas. “We are making history, we celebrate the victory and swearing in of President Nicolás Maduro,” he said.

Meanwhile, Maritza Hernández, from Carabobo state, said that she came to Caracas to be sworn in with President Nicolás Maduro because in her opinion he is the only one who can guarantee peace in the country.

“On July 28, we Venezuelans decided, Nicolas Maduro is our president and no foreigner should meddle in the affairs of Venezuela,” he said.
