Revolutionary Forces present Wilmer Rodríguez as a candidate for governor of Apure

In the municipality of San Fernando in the state of Apure, Wilmer Rodríguez, the candidate of the revolutionary forces of the Great Patriotic Pole, Simón Bolívar (GPPSB), was presented this Thursday for the next elections on May 25.

The people of Apurea received the leader Llanero, together with the vice-president of Communication and Electoral Affairs of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez.

“I present myself to you with a heart full of love and passion for all of you. We are going to defend our Homeland (...) today I thank the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, more than ever, for the responsibility he has entrusted to us for the coming May 25,” said the candidate.

He pointed out that “in Apure we are not going to fail President Maduro, because it is a Government that seeks the greatest amount of happiness possible, that is why we are going to rule with the people and with the communities as we already do, we cannot fail, here we go together to govern.”

For his part, Jorge Rodríguez stressed that “a man from Apurea arrived to take charge of this beautiful town, a man who travels through this gigantic state, a man who feels the pain, the pulse, the strength of the people of Apure. Today we bring you the embrace of a noble man who, together with Wilmer, works to achieve the full prosperity and passion that he feels for this entity.”
