The Vinotinto U23 national team will seek to make
history against Brazil this Thursday, in the match that will be held at the Brígido
Iriarte stadium, in Caracas, at 7:00pm, to achieve a pass to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Venezuela reached this important undefeated commitment (three
draws and two wins), with a resounding victory against the powerful
Verdeamarela in the group stage, when Telasco Segovia, David Martínez and
Matías Lacava reviewed combinations, overflows, walls and definition for the 3-1 win.
The Criollos, together with Paraguay, are the only teams that
have managed to beat Brazil in the tournament, so the team led by Argentinian Ricardo Valiño wants to maintain
the good dynamics to defeat them again.
In the last match where they faced each other, the
Brazilian strategist decided to rest several of his main figures, such as Endrick or
John Kennedy, something that the fans and the players themselves reproached after the
defeat by three goals to one; while Vinotinto went out with everything to seek qualification and proved to be one of the surprises of
the Olympic Qualifying.
