This Wednesday, the Venezuela-Russia Business Council was held in Caracas together with representatives of both nations, in order to strengthen relations for social and economic development.

In this context, Sergey Mélik-Bagdasárov, ambassador of the Russian Federation, said that “it is a great honor to be on this productive council, I think we will be very successful in the future because we already have everything for this,” he said and added: “we can withstand sanctions and corrective, unilateral measures.”

“We are going to meet a financial and commercial deadline through the 18 engines of the Venezuelan economy and the engines of the Russian economy, that's why we are here,” said the Russian diplomat.
