On December 11, 1928, Reinaldo José Ottolina Pinto, better known as “Renny Ottolina”, was born in Valencia, Carabobo state.

Renny Ottolina was a prominent journalist, politician, race car racer, publicist, narrator and animator of radio and television programs. He was also the first independent producer that Venezuela had, and is remembered as the pioneer of television in the country.

He received countless national and international awards, awards and awards for his valuable work. Among the Venezuelan media in which Ottolina worked, are: Radio Caracas Radio (1945), Radio Continente (1945), Radiodifusora Venezuela (1945), Radio Cultura (1946), Televisora Nacional (1952), Televisa (1952), Radio Caracas Television (1952) and the Venezuelan Television Network, currently known as Venezolana de Televisión.

The number one on television, he always had a lot of love for his country, so he made microphones to inform and make the population aware of being better citizens. Also, through his program “Venezuela Awakens”, he issued calls against administrative corruption and the lies of politicians who were squandering the nation's wealth.

In political matters, Renny founded the National Integrity Movement (MIN) in 1977, on the eve of the 1978 elections. During his election campaign, he used to read Simon Bolivar's thoughts to create awareness and love for the Liberator's ideals.
