Remigio Ceballos: We have unveiled a plan to generate acts of violence in the country's prisons

The Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, A/J Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, denounced the existence of plans to provoke acts of violence inside prison facilities and, from there, to alter peace throughout the country.

During an act of collecting signatures to demand that imperialism lift sanctions against Venezuela from the Experimental Security University (UNES), Ceballos Ichaso indicated that those responsible for these plans have already been identified and will be arrested in the coming days.

“We have unveiled a plan of attempts to alter the peace and quiet of prisons. We have names, information and advanced investigations of individuals who are trying to disturb the peace in prisons and we are going after them, we will not allow them,” he said.

In the same way, he indicated that they will apply to the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) for judicialization and, if necessary, that the sentence be extended to those inmates who are involved in these events.

He also stressed that the authorities are still working to guarantee peace in the country, despite the threats of imperialism, those who want to seize the resources available to our country.

“Our President has developed a multidimensional strategy for the protection of our people and that is the guarantee of peace, peace, tranquility and the well-being of all Venezuelans,” he emphasized.
