Remigio Ceballos: Crime rates have fallen by 25.1%

During the first 5 months of 2024, the country's crime rate fell by 25.1 percent compared to the same period the previous year, said the Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, A/J Remigio Ceballos Ichaso.

In a meeting with the other authorities of the Sectorial Vice Presidency for Citizen Security and Peace, he explained that this achievement has been possible thanks to the Great Quadrants of Peace Mission and its full deployment in the national territory.

In addition, according to a press release from the Interior Office, Ceballos Ichaso ordered the patrolling and action of police forces, to arrest those who seek to disturb the peace and tranquility of Venezuelans.

In the same way, he encouraged the population to respect traffic signs, to reduce accidents in the country.
