Rehabilitation work is progressing at the Carlos Delgado Chalbaud school in El Valle (+BRICOMILES)

During a
review of the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health
(BRICOMILES), this Friday the president of the Bolivarian Republic of
Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, showed the progress made in the comprehensive rehabilitation of the Carlos Delgado Chalbaud National Educational Unit, in
the El Valle parish of Caracas.
At the
school, the mayor of the Libertador municipality, Almiranta Carmen Meléndez, pointed out
that the institution has a capacity for 1,435 children and “the
recovery works are 70%, it is a very large school, but we hope that the
day classes start it will be 100% and complete”.
He explained that with
BRICOMILES, the walls, the lighting of the living rooms, the bathrooms are being repaired.
“This school has 39 classrooms where you can see preschool and
primary school and they are going to start this year with maternal education, it's very important that everyone is prepared
here, already on Monday the training of
our teachers begins, our teachers in what is all the programming for this
month, for the arrival of our children,” he said.
