Registrations open for the second edition of the Yaracuy Film Festival

The Yaracuy Film Festival (FESTICY 2026) will celebrate its second edition from December 3 to 5, with activities at the Lido Cinema Theater in Chivacoa and the Yaracuy Cinema in San Felipe, to promote audiovisual production and dissemination in the entity.
According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the call to participate will be open free of charge from November 4 to 25 and is aimed at Venezuelan and foreign filmmakers residing in the country, with works completed between 2024 and 2026.
In this regard, the producer of this edition, Emilio López, reported that the selected projects will be announced on November 30.
He also indicated that the bases of participation and programming can be found on the Instagram account @festicioficisl.
During the presentation, the sole authority of Culture, Josué Rivas, also highlighted the itinerant and inclusive nature of this initiative.
This activity is organized by the Government of Yaracuy, through the Yaracuy State Institute of Culture (ICEY) and with the support of the State Cabinet of Culture.
