This Saturday, January 11, the commanders of the Strategic Integrated Defense Regions (REDI), in a joint broadcast on radio and television, expressed their absolute rejection of the news of the United States government and confirmed their total loyalty to the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

In this regard, the eight REDIS were pronounced, which are distributed in the following regions: Los Andes, Capital, Central, Western, Oriental, Los Llanos, Guiana and the Maritime and Insular regions, which are Venezuela's top military units.

During the various interventions, the commanders of each of the above-mentioned REDI emphasized their rejection of the new illegal sanctions by the “North American empire and its European allies, against officials of the State of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, and we reaffirm our commitment to maintaining the peace of the nation”.
