Red Art Foundation promotes training and commercialization of handicrafts

This Friday, March 15, the president of the Red Art Foundation, Aracelis García, reported that they have important training and research programs in the craft field, where she carries out agreements with State agencies, such as the Ministry of Popular Power for National Trade, for the purpose of marketing the product.

In this regard, according to information from Venezolana de Televisión, García highlighted that, recently, an agreement was made with the National Commerce portfolio with the objective of distributing toys for programs related to schooling.

“We produce, but one of the organizational forms with the support of mayors, municipalities and in every territory of our country, however, based on this demand, the Venezuelan artisanal movement has created 23 stores in the country,” he stressed.

He recalled that in 2008 the Red Art Foundation was created, and work began related to the promotion and commercialization of national crafts, due to the need to support Venezuelan artisans and artisans.

“We have been coming out of the pandemic and this has started to improve. The Red Art Foundation has four consecutive years of holding national fairs that have allowed us to develop productive and commercial activities,” he said.
