- On November 24, 1965, the young revolutionary Ramón Salvador Pasquier Suárez was arrested and disappeared, near San Juan de los Cayos, edo. Falcon.
- He was kidnapped in the town's mayor's office at 2:00am and transferred to the Theater of Operations No. 3 (TO3) located in El Tocuyo, edo. Lara. His captor was Captain Justino R. Segovia Segovia, CI: 473,442 and he was handed over to that torture center to Major Daniel Adam Romero.
- Ramón Pasquier, 25, was an athlete and a third-year engineering student at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV).
- His brother, Andrés Pasquier, 29, was arrested a month earlier and also disappeared on October 13, 1965. He was a lawyer who graduated from the UCV and was under permanent police harassment for being the founder of the Revolutionary Left Movement (MIR).
- They were the children of Ana Suárez de Pasquier, who never ceased in her efforts to demand their appearance and surrender to all the operating theatres, cells and cells of SIFA and Digepol, existing in the country.
- Likewise, he made all the relevant complaints to the media in search of the assistance and information that would allow him to obtain them. He died without knowing anything about them.
- Recently, in July 2023, Judge Michel Adriana Velásquez Grillet ordered, in judgment 0832, that investigations be reopened by the Public Ministry to find the remains of these martyrs of the Fourth Republic.
- During the anti-democratic dictatorship of General Marcos Pérez Jiménez, political prisoners had access to a visit from their families and were granted a transfer to health centers or a visit from their doctors. Between 1952-1957, there are records of no less than 20 politically persecuted people assassinated by National Security, more than a hundred tortured and hundreds of exiles.
- Meanwhile, at the time of Raúl Leoni's Representative Democracy, the desperate mother of the Pasquier brothers, Ana Suárez de Pasquier, was denied the right to see her children, to provide them with food and clothing in prison, and finally their lives were taken to disappear from her sight forever.
- Between 1958-1999, more than 11,000 victims disappeared, tortured and murdered in the execution of policies of extermination implemented by supposedly “democratic” governments.
- During those governments (of Betancourt, Leoni, Caldera I and II, CAP I and II, Luis Herrera and Lusinchi), the CIA's torture, disappearance and extermination manuals were used in a flagrant and campant manner. For those who committed such crimes against humanity, there was impunity, shelter and rewards; for the thousands of victims and their families, they tried unsuccessfully to apply the law of oblivion.
