The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has denounced that the United States intends to obtain a tangible military advantage to destabilize the Asia-Pacific region.

The Russian president accused that the Americans “are causing an arms race, regardless of the security of their European and Asian allies .”

According to what was published on the Sputnik website, he stressed that the White House and its satellites are increasing their military presence in the Asia-Pacific region and in the Arctic “under the pretext of counteracting the alleged Russian threat and containing the People's Republic of China”.
