Putin challenges the West to measure the effectiveness of Oreshnik: There is no possibility of shooting down these missiles

Faced with criticism
from supposed “experts”, who tried to sow doubts about the range,
resistance and capacity of the Russian Oréshnik hypersonic missile, the president of the Eurasian
nation, Vladimir Putin, challenged Western countries this Thursday to measure the effectiveness of this weapon.
During the Annual Results
Conference, held in Moscow, the Russian president stressed
that “there is no possibility of shooting down these missiles,” and noted
that so-called specialists who deny Oreshnik's potential are paid to make these comments.
In this regard,
Putin insisted on carrying out a technological duel to measure forces. “Let
them choose a target of destruction. Concentrate all your air defense and missile
defense forces there, and we will attack it with Oreshnik and see what happens,” he proposed.
He assured that Russia
is ready “for such an experiment, but is the other party ready?” ,
he questioned.
