Pueblo de Monagas celebrates the start of Christmas with parties and festive atmosphere in Maturín

As part of the start of the December festivities in the national territory, the inhabitants of the state of Monagas welcomed the Christmas season from Rómulo Gallegos Square, located in the municipality of Maturín, in the midst of a day marked by joy, cultural events and community encounter.

During the festive display in the emblematic public space, citizens enjoyed the presentation of groups of traditional parties, aguinaldos and bagpipes, as well as the lighting of decorative lights that adorned the center of the capital of Monagua for the enjoyment of children, young people and older adults.

The community activity brought together entire families from the different parishes of the municipality, consolidating a space for leisure, popular culture and the reaffirmation of Venezuelan traditions in an atmosphere of serenity and fraternity.

The authorities and spokespersons of the popular power in the entity emphasized that this type of festive and recreational day will be extended to the various municipalities of the state of Monagas, guaranteeing the protection, peace and recreation of the people throughout the December 2026 season.
