The head of formation of the Vice Presidency of Community Councils and Communes of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Eulalia Tabares, announced the start of a new training plan designed to strengthen Popular Power and deepen the Bolivarian Socialist Project.
According to information from the PSUV, Tabares indicated that this training plan will be developed in four sessions over the next year, addressing fundamental issues for strengthening the Communes as spaces for citizen participation.
“We are going to be touching on issues related to our work as Vice Presidency, mainly from political contextualization to the political-technical tools that help and empower all our commissioners in the territory,” he explained.
He added that the training seeks to ensure that community spokespersons have the necessary tools to carry out their functions efficiently and effectively.
“In addition to that, we will be in each of the biweekly sessions, with all punctuality, guaranteeing and respecting the times of our colleagues and the effort they make in the territory,” he emphasized.
For his part, the vice-president of Community Councils and Communes, Jorge Arreaza, emphasized the importance of strengthening popular democracy from the ground up.
“Bolivarian popular democracy will be born in communities and will spread throughout the social body of the nation,” Arreaza said.
In addition, he called for deepening the vocation of Popular Power in the territory, understanding this concept as the capacity of the people to govern themselves and make collective decisions.
“We have to guarantee the continuity, the deepening, the radicalization of our Simon Bolivar project, of our socialism as a popular organization,” he said
This training plan seeks to consolidate the Communal State and guarantee the leading participation of the people in public administration.
