The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) maintains its territorial deployment in the municipalities of Cojedes ahead of the National Popular Consultation scheduled for October 18, the organization's State Political Team reported during its weekly meeting in San Carlos.

The state organizer of the PSUV, Jesús Oviedo, highlighted the work carried out by the militancy and pointed out that Cojedes ranks second in the country in terms of the number of street days.

In this context, he proposed strengthening the territorial organization and presenting balance sheets of the Commune, Electoral, APC, Social Movements and Mobilization secretariats.

For his part, the party's national liaison for the state, Jhon Moreno, called for intensified house-to-house and commune-by-commune contact to guide the population on the day of October 18.

In addition, the national executive secretary, Eduardo Piñate, also urged the rank and file to maintain organizational work prior to the consultation.

During the meeting, awards were given to political teams for their performance and the award of the National History Award to the historian William García from Cojeda was valued.
