PSUV delegation paid tribute to legendary leader Mao Zedong

As part of the work and training agenda in China, the high-level delegation of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) paid tribute this Wednesday to the politician and top leader of the Communist Party of China, Mao Zedong.

This was announced by the Deputy Minister for Latin America, Rander Peña, through his Telegram channel , in which he stressed that “the Great Helmsman was one of the great thinkers of the 20th century, whose legacy has been transcendent not only in China, but in all of humanity”.

Peña also indicated that the PSUV delegation in China has held important working meetings with Shangguan Jian, secretary of the Communist Youth League in Shanghai, with whom they reaffirmed their mutual alliances.

“Together we are going to achieve a prosperous shared common destiny, in which we can, through political cooperation between the United Socialist Party of Venezuela and the Communist Party of China, achieve the greatest possible amount of happiness for our peoples, in which the modernization of our countries is a concrete reality available to all Venezuelans,” he said.

He reaffirmed that for several days they have been “witnesses, seeing the experience of China, that a happier and more modern world is possible. Together we walk the unavoidable and unique path to achieve the greatest sum of happiness for our people. And we are active builders of a multipolar and pluricentric world.”
