The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, condemned this Monday the attack that the former Bolivian president, Evo Morales, suffered over the weekend.

“We, like the world, must condemn the attack against former President Evo Morales in Bolivia; it is the wrong way of doing politics that is absolutely wrong, I hope everything returns to calm, I hope everything returns to tranquility,” said Cabello during the usual weekly press conference of the red awning.

This Sunday, the indigenous leader of the Andean nation reported that the vehicle in which he was traveling was intercepted by unknown individuals and fired at least 14 shots. Morales' driver was injured in the incident.
