“This is a revolutionary Party and you have to be loyal to the Party and loyal to the Revolution,” said Commander Chávez.
On March 5, 2007, Commander Hugo Chávez announced the official start of the PSUV formation process and the appointment of a Technical Committee to coordinate that process, which was made up of Diosdado Cabello, Adán Chávez, Érika Farías, Lina Ron and Jorge Rodríguez Gómez.
This party is the spearhead in defense of democracy and social justice, with a membership of almost 8 million anti-imperialists who are committed to peace in the country.
The foundations of the PSUV are established in unity, struggle, battle and victory, an action that it demonstrates in all the scenarios that have been presented since its creation, as well as being the vanguard in the struggles of popular power for inclusion, equality and social justice.
In addition, the PSUV has become a beacon of light for Latin America and the world because of its anti-imperialist character and its multipolar vision whose objective is the union of Peoples.
