PSUV and Communist Party of China strengthen relations of cooperation and friendship (+photos)

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, held a meeting this Tuesday with the vice-minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Chen Zhou, to strengthen the ties of cooperation and friendship between the political organizations of both nations.

The Chinese delegation was present at this meeting, consisting of: the Chinese ambassador to Venezuela, Lan Hu; the deputy director of the CPC Discipline Oversight Group, Feng Jicai; the deputy director of Latin American Affairs, Wang Nan; and the section chief, Zhou Xiangmeng.

Also present in Venezuela were: Rander Peña, Vice President of International Affairs; Tania Díaz, Vice President of Formation and Ideology of the PSUV; Nicolás Maduro Guerra, Vice President of Religious Affairs and President of the China—Venezuela Parliamentary Friendship Group; Grecia Colmenares, Secretary General of the JPSUV; and Tatiana Pugh, Deputy Minister for Asia, Middle East and Oceania.

The vice-minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Chen Zhou, arrived in Venezuela yesterday afternoon for the purpose of holding meetings with political authorities within the framework of the close relationship between the two countries, according to the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry.
