Pro-Palestine demonstrators gather around the G20 Summit in Brazil

Demonstrators express their solidarity for the cause of Palestine around the Museum of Modern Art where the Group of 20 (G20) Summit is taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

According to what was published on the Telegram channel of the Sputnik news agency, demonstrators were banned from going to the headquarters where this event, which brings together at least 20 heads of state from different nations, is being held.

The public event is attended by popular and indigenous movements, as well as representatives of anti-Zionist Jewish groups, according to a press release from Sputnik.

According to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, nearly 44,000 people have been killed by Israel in the Gaza Strip for more than a year.
