Prime Minister Nicolás Maduro: The Venezuelan economy can never again be used as a war field

Venezuela currently has a powerful economy so it can never again be used as a war field to promote coups d'etat, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

During his participation in the National Council for Productive Economy in the western region, he advocated that the economy be kept free and in this way the country's economic peace can be consolidated.

In this sense, he called for “seeding the value of work” to achieve national prosperity, while denying that he maintains a dogmatic economic program.

He also warned about the plans of sectors of the right to generate violence in the country to affect the country and try to obtain political gain.

“We prepare to hold an electoral campaign and we make it festive, joyful, we sing, we rejoice, but there are sectors of extremism that are preparing to wage war and if they continue on that path of sowing hatred and intolerance, they will do worse. We achieved political peace, we defended democracy, we achieved economic peace,” he stressed.
