President Zelensky admits he is willing to hand over territory to Russia

This Friday, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensk I stated that he is willing to give up territory to Russia in order to end the hot phase of the war.
As he specified, such a step would be temporary and would be given in exchange for a NATO umbrella on the lands that are still under the rule of Kiev.
“If we want to stop the hot phase of the war, we should place under the umbrella of NATO the territory of Ukraine that we have under our control,” Zelenski said in an interview with Sky News.
He added that “that's what we need to do quickly, and then Ukraine will be able to recover the other part of its territory through diplomatic channels.”
