President Rodríguez: Venezuela's decisions are made here, sovereignty is not negotiated

The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, said this Thursday that the decisions on the country's political, economic and social transformations belong to Venezuela, while ratifying the defense of national sovereignty.

“The decisions for this transformation are made here, signed here and announced here, before you. Sovereignty is not negotiated,” he said during a message addressed to the nation, in which he explained the progress and the pending tasks of his administration.

In addition, the president also stressed that the events of this year showed the path of unity, cooperation and resilience of the Venezuelan people.

As for the political horizon, he specified that it “is not measured by a date in the calendar, but by a sequence of objectives that we must achieve (...) an announcement is not good for what it promises. It is good for what it is done,” he emphasized.

For this reason, he reaffirmed his commitment to the transformation of Venezuela leading to a national rebirth and to the maximum happiness of the Venezuelan people.
