President Rodríguez: Plan Vida y Salud placed more than 1,500 pacemakers and performed 3,000 hemodynamics

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that, within the Life and Health plan, more than 1,500 pacemakers were placed and more than 3,000 hemodynamic procedures were performed.

“It is very important to continue to make progress in the area of health for the Venezuelan people because it is a right enshrined in the National Constitution, hence the importance of unity between local, regional and national health systems,” stressed the Head of the National Executive.

During the event, the Heart I Love You Cardiovital Foundation was inaugurated at the Dr. Miguel Malpica Hospital in Guacara, Carabobo state, which will be dedicated to providing specialized medical care for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

This non-profit institution will be created with the purpose of guaranteeing access to diagnosis, prevention, treatment and timely recovery, improving the quality of life of all citizens who require it.
