President Rodríguez: My aspiration is that every family can celebrate the year with a housing solution

This Friday, the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, handed over 1,181 rehabilitated homes to families who were victims of the double earthquake of last June 24.

From the El Recreo parish in the capital city, the president pointed out that this delivery benefits more than 3,549 people, adding that more than 20,000 homes are being intervened within the framework of the Venezuela Renace Plan.

“At the same time, we are also working to care for people who are in temporary camps (...) My aspiration is that in the New Year everyone will receive it either in a new home or in a purchased home financed by the Government or in a single-family temporary unit where your privacy is denied.”

In that regard, he reiterated his commitment to the Venezuelan people, “my aspiration is that every family can welcome the year and embrace each other with a housing solution.”

Finally, he announced funding to 91 condominium councils, whom he congratulated for their participation in the neighborhood consultation last Sunday, October 18.

“And I asked the team to be very aware of waterproofing, elevators, leaks, paint, water pumps (...) and I have asked the team to accompany these processes.”
