President Putin invited his Iranian counterpart to the next BRICS summit

The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, invited his Iranian counterpart, Masoud Pezeshkianm, to attend the next BRICS summit to be held in Kazan from October 22 to 24, which took place this Tuesday from Tehran.
The invitation was announced by the spokesman of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Jalali, who indicated that both leaders plan to sign a comprehensive long-term cooperation agreement within the framework of this event.
Currently, the BRICS include: Brazil, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Iran, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Russia and the United Arab Emirates.
At the next summit in 2024, the BRICS will make important decisions on de-dollarization and the promotion of local currencies.
