Deputy Jorge Rodríguez, president of the National Assembly, during the Debate on the statements of the Attorney General of the Republic on April 29, 2024, where he unveiled clear and firm evidence linking a sector of the fascist opposition to the PDVSA - Crypto corruption scheme, called for 30 years in prison for Samark López and Tareck El Aissami

“I ask for 30 years for the traitor of Samark López and for El Aissami,” Jorge Rodríguez told the parliamentary plenary, who during the legislative discussion assured that corruption is being combated in the Bolivarian Revolution and its fiercest defender is President Nicolás Maduro.

“If one of us commits acts of corruption against the Republic, it's painful, but if he becomes a traitor, he automatically ceases to be one of us,” said the deputy who acknowledged that given the degree of betrayal of the country of this corrupt group, all that remains is to ask for the full weight of the law.

He criticized all those involved in this corruption network allied with sectors and leaders of the extreme right who receive orders from the Joe Biden government in the United States, who assigned it as a task to his embassy in Colombia to overthrow President Nicolás Maduro in exchange for 30 coins, houses, cars and luxuries in that country for those who would carry out this work.

They tried a coup d'etat on April 30, and they said: It's ready, and some abandoned weapons and two cambur guacales woke up, 2 guards while the coup plotters fled like rats getting into the Chilean embassy, then they said: That's ready, and they named a functional illiterate, because they wanted to, as interim president, the same imperialist government that repeated: That's ready, during the pandemic to attempt the paramilitary invasion from Macuto, in La Guaira “, Rodríguez stressed .

He lamented those who for 30 coins sold their patriotism, their duty to defend sovereignty and independence and denied their status as Venezuelans to become garbage worms in the empire and proposed using the instruments of law to combat what he called coup scourges.

Finally, the president of the parliament proposed the formation of a Special Commission to establish political responsibility, which will be chaired by the First Vice President of the AN, Pedro Infante.
