The President of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, thanked the chargé d'affaires of the United States embassy in Venezuela, John Barrett, for the invitation to be part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the independence of the North American nation held this Thursday.

“We are pleased to attend the invitation of the Chargé d'Affaires of the U.S. Embassy, John Barrett, to celebrate the 250th anniversary of his declaration of independence. The close ties of cooperation between our governments are a fundamental tool for the stability and prosperity of all our people,” Rodríguez said in his account on the social network Telegram.
