President of Guyana Irfaan Ali confirmed meeting with his Venezuelan counterpart, Nicolás Maduro

The President of Guyana, Irfaan Ali, confirmed his attendance at the meeting on Thursday, December 15 in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines with the President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, to discuss the controversy between the two nations over the territory of Guiana Essequiba.

Through a press release published on the social network X of the government of Guyana, he thanked the efforts of the CARICOM and CELAC nations to achieve this meeting and assured that President Irfaan Ali will continue to involve his bilateral partners in cooperation pacts and political, social and economic agreements.
