President Nicolás Maduro: We are electing candidates to make the Revolution

The president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro Moros, instructed all the candidates of the parties of the Simón Bolívar Great Patriotic Pole (GPPSB) to guarantee governments at the service of the People that he maintained require the transformation of existing structures.

“The structures we have are in the middle of the transformation, of a transition and I would add something else, they are in the middle of the late transition,” he said, while stressing the need to accelerate processes without delay and excuses.

“There are people who talk about the blockade and I tell them: the worst blockade and the worst sanction is not that of (Donald) Trump, the worst blockade is for those who don't want to transform things because they want to be wrens in their states, today we are choosing candidates to make the Revolution, to walk with the people,” he emphasized.

He ordered candidates to tour their states and establish letters of commitment to organized communities. “We must make a document with the government plan state by state, and the commitments one by one, signed by the People, a document of true, real commitment, let's not promise things we cannot do,” he said.
