This Monday, June 3rd, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that Venezuela was indeed the model epicenter in the assertive management of the global pandemic of COVID-19 and not as intended by the extreme right that predicted the failure of the Bolivarian Government to address the public health emergency.

He recalled how the international media on the right, “said that Venezuela was going to be the epicenter of the global pandemic, they repeated it every day, that we practically had to surround Venezuela, if we had to invade it.”

“Sanctions intensified and they called on all the laboratories in the world, so that they would not sell us the PCRs and with inventiveness we got the PCRs and nobody lacked their PCR,” he highlighted in his program “With Maduro+”, in the 48th edition,

He also stressed that they also hindered Venezuela from acquiring retrovirals, at the request of the right, so that they would not sell Remdesivir to the country.

Also, with the issue of vaccines, which in the long run was positive, since Western vaccines had side effects, so the Bolivarian Government managed to bring millions of vaccines against COVID-19 to the country, from Russia and China.

“There is no harm that for good it doesn't come, trying to harm us, they did us good, because if we had brought vaccines from the West, we would have made the people sick, since they cause embolisms, heart attacks, dementia, cancer,” he said.
