The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, said that the people of the Zuli state are awakening and reorganizing, “I have sent the entire social team so that we can move on to another phase”.

He stressed that, given the lack of leadership, Maracaibo “is well abandoned, as is San Francisco.”

For this reason, he considered it essential to deal directly “on a case-by-case basis (...), to deploy everything that has to do with the great missions of the new generation, particularly the Great Equality and Justice and Social Hugo Chávez Mission”.

He stressed that the people have suffered a lot because of the “criminal sanctions of imperialism and the surnames, of all this opposition, who called for sanctions and for the invasion of Venezuela.”

This was highlighted by the head of state, during telephone contact he had with the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, during the meeting of the board of directors of the PSUV in the state of Zulia.

He urged PSUV leaders to maintain direct contact with communities. “If we are a team, we are profoundly united, with an increasingly renewed spirituality, united in love for the Homeland and united with the People,” he said.

He said that the people of Zulia have the full support of the Bolivarian Government.

He also sent greetings to all the political and social leaders of the entity, “to the entire leadership of Zulia”.
